DC Celine's Style Dilemma: Vote Now, or Forever Hold Your Peace

Audience participation time - check out my last post, then vote on the dress I'll don for Baby Sis' April wedding.

Alana - reminiscent of the neckline on my own sexy gown, this is plunging and sweet all at the same time. Forgiving, too.

Josephine - nevermind how cool the name is, the sweetheart neckline isn't sweet, it's sexy. And for a strapless, it's also relatively (but less than the Alana) forgiving.

For color reference only, not for voting, this Cement color is very similar to the Almond Baby Sis likes. Also happens to be the dramatic long version of the Alana. Bummer we're going short. But, of course, short is infinitely more wearable later.

Definitely that Alana...the sweetheart neckline is a total misnomer, and tends to look good on so few.

Great color for the bridesmaids dresses though!

as the bride :o) my personal favorite is the josephine! i want it for just a party dress! but at the same time - the alana is definitely a great twist on the classic! and remember sis - you can always cut the long to have the great back! guess i'm not helping!

I would suggest the "Josephine"!

I like the Alana...I think. It's hard to choose, I like both.

Is everyone a similar size? If not, I'd say Alana. Anybody that's fairly big-boobed will be singing your sis's praises if she goes with Alana.

How strangely topical to be voting this close to the seventh. I vote for the Alana, simply because of the dramatic back, which will look wonderful as you're standing in front of the wedding guests. Plus, sweetheart necklines...seem...Wendy Pepper.

I say Josephine. Most likely to be worn again...

Sorry for the delayed vote!

In photos I love the Alana, but while it's definitely boobie friendly, it could make them look a little saggy depending on how the dresses are actually cut.

Good point made by TLM about the re-wearability of the Josephine. But when it comes right down to it, will you ever really wear it again?

I gotta say, too, though, the pinky salmony color will look much more flattering on everyone--cement could wash out some peeps!
