Well, I have a bunch of posts in the works, including the long-overdue details on my First Runway Show Ever. (yes. it's true. The Front Row was my first. and left me wanting my beach gear. but there just wasn't enough time for me to hit up the Bethesda Row stores before we jetted - ok drove slowly, with lots of stops - up 95 to the Jersey Shore.) If you're jonesing a recap, check out my date, Elizabeth's, post, here. She got some great shots of both the runway and the atmosphere. You just can't beat an outdoor fashion show, methinks (says the runway virgin).
While I am taking some vacation time here down tha shore - during which I'm more likely to actually put blogging fingers to keyboard - I'm also working remotely, which has it's own challenges. And, given that I have a large, strategic proposal I'm working, well, I kinda have to focus on that.
But I do promise posts in the near future, and in the meantime a few tweets here and there. Anyone catch my #jerseylicious toes?

Style Poll: THE Accessory
Well, I'm a terrible listener.
Despite agreeing with the 100% response on our last style poll, that a big, floppy J.Lo hat is The Don't Forget Beach Accessory (other choices were a sarong, sparkles, and a credit card), I did. I forgot it.

Fortunately, Sea Isle City, NJ, hosts a Big Huge Market in the middle of September every year (the main reason we make the trip this time of year). So I grabbed a $5 cap and am wearing it proudly (GO PHILS!).
That is, when The Bean doesn't grab it from my head and wear it on top of hers.

Back
Back at work, nose (almost) to the grindstone.
The week away from everything was a wonderful, family-filled, sun- and surf-filled week. No schedules (well, ok, 2 - 1 for spa treatments and 1 for yoga class). No makeup - at all. Shouldn't even have brought it with me. An outdoor shower - delightful. Double-stuff oreos, chips, grilled meat. A few pieces of fruit stolen out of The Bean's cup.
The Bean's first real beach time, playing in the sand...
It was a lovely, lovely week. Restaurant review and other updates to come.
